Why America's Next "Pearl Harbor" May Come From CyberSpace
Guest Speaker:
KT McFarland, National Security Analyst, FNC and former Presidential Aide to Nixon, Ford and Reagan

Our daily life, economic vitality, and national security depend on a stable, safe, and resilient cyberspace. As Americans become more reliant on modern technology, we also become more vulnerable to cyber-attacks such as corporate security breaches, spear phishing, and social media fraud. Cybersecurity awareness is needed to recognize the challenges and address solutions.

K.T. McFarland is FNCs’ National Security Analyst, and appears regularly on all the FOX News and FOX Business News shows.  She anchors DEFCON3 and writes a regular column for FOXnews.com. She is also the weekly national security commentator for several national radio shows.  KT held national security posts in the Nixon, Ford and Reagan Administrations: as an aide to Dr. Henry Kissinger on the NSC Staff; member of the Senate Armed Services Committee Staff; Senior Speechwriter to Secretary of DefenseCaspar Weinberger and later the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and Pentagon Spokesman. She received the Defense Department’s highest civilian award for her work in the Reagan Administration.

BREAKOUT EDUCATION SESSION: Creating a Leadership Brand That Engages and Retains Employees
Sponsored by Oscar Montano, Inc.

You’ve probably heard the saying “people don’t quit their jobs, they quit their bosses.” That’s right, 65% of Americans say they would choose a better boss over a pay raise*. Wow. This tells us there’s an epidemic in leadership today – leaders are not motivating or inspiring employees and as a result they are leaving and looking for a culture that will engage them. The good news is this is all within your control – it’s just a matter of becoming aware and then becoming intentional about your leadership brand experience.

It starts with defining what you want to be known for and applying some simple keys such as consistency, communication and connection. In this interactive session we’ll discuss what drives a positive leadership experience while taking a look at how you can create your own brand experience. Whether you’re leading a company or a department this session will leave you with tools and strategies to not just engage your employees but also retain them.
